When the light goes down and the shadows lurk, how do we manage them in our lives?

We all have a darker side to our personal self, even though we don't always act upon it, or notice it in action.
We can feel a shadow or trigger happening in our body when we are judged or criticised, there's a sense of being punched in the gut - why is that?
It's our body's way of showing us that we are not aligned. When our emotional responses are triggered, our energetic body translates this misalignment, it speaks to the physical body in feelings and symbols of what is right or wrong for us.
We are born with this instinct. I am sure you have felt it many times throughout your life.
We not only have a physical body, but we have an energetic body (aura, chakras, luminous energy field) surrounding us. Caroline Myss calls this our " energetic anatomy " and she goes on to say its like our latitude and longitude of the body.
This energy body is aligned to our physical self and so if we feel someone attack us with judgements, or we feel a ldeep sense of loss, a death, a dark night of the soul) is taking our power away we feel lost. Or perhaps its our own grudge and judgement of another that we feel and we are then draining our own power again.
This is not who we truly are, the heaviness of the shadow we feel, we are a spirit or light beingnjourneying into the physical and out again , in and out like a giant infinity loop. Experiencing through the darker conditional lens of our life and not seeing clearly.
When we do tune into our awareness we see life clearly and lightly- through infinite unconditional love that is light and whole.
In my deepest grief several years ago I lived in the dark because I felt the pain of losing my son was unbearable. It was suffocating me and so I allowed it to be that suffering for four months. Until I could not stand it aanymore nd I surrendered to a greater being than I. This is something else we are born knowing. That we are part of something greater than our personal life.
Pain is inevitable in this life, the suffering is optional and comes from how we see and experience that pain within our shadow self. From an unconditional loving and forgiving place or from fear and compromise (usually your own). COMPROMISE is when we limit ourselves and live from fear
Are we judging it or blaming someone for causing it?
Does it make us feel helpless, powerless?
Did we feel it took away our power?
Fortunately that can never happen, nothing can take away our power we are infinite beings.
We can think and feel as if we are giving away our power, but it is always within us.
However if we are to live congruen tly from our most authentic self we need to be aware of our choices in the moment - this is why its good to M.O.T. what our reactions are when we feel upset. We ALWAYS have a choice, to be triggered, to judge or to stay in our suffering
OR . . .
to forgive
And WHY do we want to stay in that place of suffering?
Ok you might say I don't want to suffer and be ill,yet here you are doing just that.
You might feel its someone else's fault and nothing to do with you - because its quite scary to be self accountable and to change a set way of thinking.
It also takes courage to unravel those solid stuck belief systems that you felt were so solid and real, THEY ARE NOT they are made up!
WHAT IF just what if there is another choice, a different way to see this?
Your intellect is rational and at your beck and call. The brain is an input output model, inputted by you.
Your soul's awareness is far greater than the contents of your knowledge it is powered by the whole cosmos, by TRUTH.
The next time you find yourself 'triggered' step back and into the energy of your soul AND BECOME so sure of yourself in this TRUTH space
This life is about life itself - how much do I care about life ENOUGH to forgive and live from my heart, slowing down enough to care for others.
The Law of the Heart is a rising tide lifts all ships.
The speed of our thought is at the same speed as the internet, and every choice we make creates something. This is our power so use it wisely and ask
"Is this worth spending my soul energy on - this petty reaction, this fear of becoming a victim, this grudge, this told you so, feeling cross about how the dishwasher gets loaded, this withholding my love ?"
Have a soul filled week. Anni
